Alright everyone, so over the weekend, a party was broken up by LAPD with excessive force (79 police officers to be exact). Care to take a guess as to what this party looked like and why it was met with such aggressive action? The party was mostly Black and Brown USC students. Six arrests were made. Being someone that has frequently partied in LA with people that are mostly Black and Brown I can say that LAPD always meets every one of these parties with unnecessary force.

One of my best friends since childhood, Aja, is a student at USC; one of her friends was arrested. She designed these shirts and I encourage y’all to check them out (the ladies shirts are more expensive, so I bought a men’s one and I’m excited to DIY a cute shirt from it). All proceeds go to the legal fees incurred by these arrests. This cannot go unrecognised and action must be taken.

Racial Profiling AT USC! Stand With Us!

Friday was our last day of school and an African American senior threw a party at his house that was shut down at around 2am with 79 LAPD officers in riot gear, arresting USC students that were leaving the party (men and women), blocking streets so people couldn’t get to their homes and cars and they brought helicopters.

I was at the party and left before LAPD sent out a distress call which sent out more officers. In my house a few blocks away I could hear tons of sirens driving towards the party and helicopters. I went on twitter and saw photos and videos of what was going on. I was almost tempted to walk back to the party to make sure my friends were ok. The videos I saw made me sick to my stomach and then when I found out that my friends, who are leaders in the black and latino communities at USC, were arrested I was in shock. I don’t care that our party got shut down. I’m mad because LAPD came out in riot gear treating us like dangerous criminals when we are USC students of color that just wanted to celebrate the end of the school year with our friends.

Please read the articles and watch the videos. Stand with us and support us! Share this story! Share your story if you have been a victim of racial profiling! We are in this together! Tweet and Instagram using he hashtag #USChangemovement

I’ve been stopped by police near my house and asked to show my ID by campus police and blatantly lied to by LAPD who pulled me over and told me my lights were out and shined lights in the back of the car but when I got home and checked they were all working. I’m fed up! It’s time for change.

GoldenUndergroundTV recently released an interview I did with them late last year. I got a bit animated at the end. Only so many interviews in a row I could handle being asked about Chief Keef.

My tirade wasn’t really about Chief Keef. It wasn’t about Gucci Mane or Wocka…
